The new owner of Gatwick, the French firm Vinci airports, has the majority of stakes and also owns around 50 other airports around the world including Belfast international, Lisbon, etc. However, Gatwick is its biggest investment so far.

There are plans to spend £1.1bn on improving the facilities by 2023 by doing multiple developments like robot car parking.
