Electricity – the real logistics disruptor

The system is operational on 6.2 miles of the motorway where electric wires were installed and trucks can connect to the wires and drive with around 56 miles per hour. Truck can detect when the wires begin so they can connect to them and use an electric motor. When there are no wires trucks use a hybrid system.
