Next Level Charging: Solving The Power Scarcity in Fleet Depots

Logistics and Supply Chain News

A big pain in fleet companies when they turn electric is the humongous amount of power they realise they need to charge all their vans overnight. This usually means demanding more power  and retrofitting the electrical installation (even upgrading the transformer substation, which can cost hundreds of thousands of pounds), as current wires don’t support the needed power.

Join Wallbox Chargers, a leading smart charging and energy management solutions company, on the 24th May at 11am BST – the event starts 10 am UK time , to discuss how fleet operators can solve these problems by better energy management. Alan McCleave,Country Director UK and Ireland at Wallbox, will share insights and tips. ‘You can avoid these issues by having a system that decides which van to charge and when, having a smart queue and balancing the loads, including phase balancing,’ Alan explains.

You can ask your questions in advance by simply filling this form or sending them to nick@thelogisticspoint.com.
