WeChat, a Chinese social app, has announced the launch of a logistics platform to help small businesses deal with the ‘fatal logistics problem’.

The company promises its new ‘logistics assistant’ will support small business in navigating the field of logistics. The assistant is a program that can link together all existing logistics processes of the company into one and make them more transparent and easy to follow.

‘It saves a lot of development and customer service costs . The return visit rate has also increased,’ says one of the users of the assistant.

The assistant is suitable for group chats which are a big part of WeChat. There is no cost to install it and the company says it can be adjusted to individual needs in less than a day. Apart from that, the assistant works with many major logistics companies and will provide easy tracking of orders.
