China is expanding its logistics robotics developments overseas as more Chinese companies are trying to reach clients beyond their native market, says a report by StyleIntelligence.
As the Chinese government is highly supportive of companies who develop and research in the area of artificial intelligence and robotics, firms from the country are gaining competitive advantage. "Made in China 2025"is one of the main driving forces for this increase in Chinese logistics robotics.
Some companies have already successfully integrated robots in their logistics operations like the Kiva style one. The biggest advantage of China made machines is that they are from 30 to 50% cheaper than European or American alternatives.
