Crossrail, the rail project that is being built to connect west and east London, could potentially be delayed until 2021, BBC revealed. The reason is signalling testing has turned out to be more challenging than previously expected.
Sources said the grand opening, that was already postponed once, could happen in spring or summer 2020. This, however, is the “best case scenario” and if things do not go as planned Londoners should expect a longer delay.
