Wing Aviation LLC, the subsidiary of Alphabet that controls Google, has received an approval to be an airline. This is the first drone operator to be granted such an approval by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Keep the drones off the cities’ sky
The company plans to begin deliveries shortly to communities around Virginia in the US. It will load its drones will small items to begin with. Experts believe this could be the beginning of a new area where more and more companies start using drones for commercial purposes in the USA.
Wing Aviation is also planning to look for other regions where they can begin deliveries and find customers.
