Trump to impose $11bn tariffs on EU goods

Logistics and Supply Chain News Uncategorized

This is the latest chapter in Trump’s America First.

Donald Trump, the US president, is planing to impose $11bn tariffs on different EU goods. The move comes after the World Trade Organisation has ruled against EU subsidies for Airbus.

It is still not clear whether the US will actually proceed with the tariffs as the final ruling on the Airbus case is yet to come. Some of the products that could be affected include aircraft, cheese, seafood, ski equipment, knives, and swimwear.

The EU has already announced it will hit back at any possible tariffs.
