ArrowXL Delivering Christmas to UK Retailers

Logistics and Supply Chain News

Premium Christmas Trees, the go to brand for wholesale Christmas trees in the UK, has partnered with ArrowXL, the UK’s largest and longest established 2-person home delivery specialist, to deliver over 1,000 trees per week to customers across the UK.

Premium Christmas Trees are an independent, family-owned business who have been growing and supplying premium British grown Christmas trees to retailers across the UK since 2004.  All their premium, sustainable trees are grown on their farms in Scotland.

Sophie Holt, Director at Premium Christmas Trees, commented: “We were looking for a delivery partner who could provide us with an efficient and professional service.”

ArrowXL are a key component to the dropship vendor (DSV) part of Premium Christmas Trees’ business.  Utilising ArrowXL’s efficient 48-hour delivery service, customers can select a nominated delivery day and will receive the standard room of choice service. Christmas trees are an unusual product type, and ArrowXL’s expertise in two-person handling, high-end customer communication and live tracking assisted in sealing the contract.

Sophie continued, “Customer expectations are only rising, so it’s vital to partner with people that recognise this and provide a service that reflects the premium quality of our trees and business.  So far, the contract mobilisation has been great, and we look forward to working with ArrowXL throughout the festive season.”

The partnership will see plenty of innovation heading into the future with conversations around industry firsts, such as tree and stand installation, already taking place.

Craig Kavanagh, Sales Director at ArrowXL added: “Christmas can be an incredibly busy time in our industry with merchants and retailers working to tight deadlines. We’re delighted that Premium Christmas Trees chose us as their delivery partner and we hope to provide an excellent customer experience that reflects the dedication and care that goes into growing their trees.”
