Commenting on this new organisation, Cédric Favre-Lorraine said: “As a CEO, Damien has been a key contributor to Stuart’s development from a start-up into a key player in its market. It has been a pleasure working with him, and his professional and personal qualities have been highly valued throughout his time at the company. I wish him a lot of success in his future endeavours. I am happy that Cornelia Raportaru has accepted the appointment to replace Damien, and I am confident that she will pursue the outstanding work achieved with leadership and customer centricity in Stuart’s markets in Europe.”
Backed by an extensive career and a distinctly strategic profile focused on business development, Cornelia Raportaru joined Stuart in February 2022 as Executive Vice President of International, in charge of Stuart activities in Spain, Portugal, Italy and Poland. She then took the additional responsibility of the Global Operations centre of expertise. In that role, she successfully created and developed a global organisation, supporting Stuart’s ambition to deliver first-class experience to clients and courier partners, from their first interaction with the company.
“I am very proud and honoured to be part of Stuart as we continue to empower local commerce in Europe with tech-enabled precise delivery solutions. This represents a challenge that I am taking with great responsibility, while knowing that I am surrounded by a remarkable team”, said Cornelia Raportaru.
Prior to her Stuart experience, Cornelia Raportaru was Managing Director at TaskRabbit Europe, expanding the marketplace to over 150 cities. She also previously held management roles with Twitter, Vodafone, Cadbury and AIESEC International. Cornelia Raportaru holds a BA from the Academy of Economic Studies in Romania and an MBA from the London Business School.
Damien Bon has decided to embrace a new career opportunity. Over the last seven years, Damien has played an instrumental role in building and growing the organisation, successfully developing and expanding the service offering across business verticals and markets in Europe, all with a strong track record of employee engagement.
Damien will continue to support Stuart’s further development as an advisor of Stuart.
