Körber announced that it has been named a Contender in The Forrester WaveTM: Order Management Systems, Q2 2023 report by Forrester Research. As one of “the eight providers that matter most” in order management systems, we believe the recognition exemplifies Körber’s capabilities to enable businesses to deliver upon the ever-increasing consumer expectations in today’s highly competitive omnichannel commerce and fulfillment landscape.
Körber received the highest score among all vendors in the inventory segmentation and allocation and drop shipping criteria. It also received the highest possible scores across reporting and analytics and pick, pack, and ship or stage from store in the delivery model criterion. According to the report, Körber’s OMS “is strong in reporting and analytics, inventory segmentation and allocation, and drop-shipping. It continues to hone its expertise in multichannel selling and even serves as a standalone connection broker for some customers.” Additionally, Forrester reported, “Körber is a best fit for firms that prioritize inventory management for drop shipping and marketplace selling.”
Chad Collins, CEO Software at Körber Business Area Supply Chain, said: “Körber is the trusted omnichannel fulfillment and distribution technology partner enabling our customers to manage the life cycle of the order from multiple demand sources and network-wide inventory for thousands of organizations worldwide. We have leveraged our domain expertise to build out a differentiated solution that solves omnichannel complexity and makes a critical impact on the ability of our clients to fulfill market demand and foster competitive advantage rapidly and profitably.”
Forrester evaluated order management system providers based on 34 criteria, identifying the eight most significant vendors by researching, analyzing and scoring them based on vendor surveys, product demos and customer reference calls. Underlining the role of technology to meet growing customer demand in the eCommerce era, the Forrester report also stated, “OMS adoption – and the value it adds to commerce experiences – has massively expanded in recent years. […] Customers demand availability and delivery information instantly [while] legacy solutions – or connectors to back-office systems like enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems – simply cannot deliver on these expectations.”
Körber’s Order Management System (OMS), part of the Enspire Commerce platform, supports the entire omnichannel order lifecycle from browsing, to buying, unboxing and beyond. These capabilities are strengthened when used in tandem with Kӧrber’s portfolio of solutions.
